- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be barred from using this service under applicable laws
User Accounts
When you register on IndoJapan Careers:
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- You may not create more than one personal account
- Account sharing with other individuals is prohibited
Permitted Use
IndoJapan Careers grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Create a professional profile and maintain your career information

Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:

- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our platform using automated tools
- Use the platform to spam other users or send unsolicited communications
- Impersonate any person, organization, or entity
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful software
- Circumvent any security measures or access controls on the platform
- Reproduce, republish, or redistribute platform content without written permission
- Use AI-generated cover letters to misrepresent your actual skills or experience
- Engage in discriminatory, harassing, or abusive behavior toward other users
- Violate any applicable law of India or Japan
AI-Powered Tools
IndoJapan Careers provides AI-powered tools including a Cover Letter Writer and Job Description Writer. By using these tools:
- You acknowledge that AI-generated content is a starting point and should be reviewed and customized by you
- You take full responsibility for the accuracy and appropriateness of any AI-generated content you submit to employers
- You must not use AI tools to misrepresent your qualifications or experience
- You grant us a limited license to process your input to generate and improve our AI tool outputs
Job Listings & Applications
Regarding job listings on our platform:
- Job listings are provided by third-party employers and recruiters; we do not guarantee their accuracy
- IndoJapan Careers does not guarantee employment, interviews, or specific outcomes from applications
- We are not a party to any employment contract between users and employers
- Salary data and visa guides are informational only and may not reflect current conditions
- We reserve the right to remove listings that violate our guidelines or applicable law
Intellectual Property
All content on IndoJapan Careers including text, graphics, logos, designs, AI tools, and platform functionality is the intellectual property of CIJ Today or its licensors, protected under Indian and Japanese copyright and intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you create and upload (resumes, cover letters, profile information). By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and use it to operate and improve the platform.
Disclaimers
IndoJapan Careers is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of job listings, visa guides, or salary information
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform
- Fitness for a particular professional purpose
- Security against all cyber threats (though we implement reasonable security measures)
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CIJ Today and IndoJapan Careers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including:
- Loss of employment opportunities or career outcomes
- Reliance on AI-generated content
- Unauthorized access to your account
- Data loss or platform downtime
- Actions of third-party employers or recruiters
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees) if no payment was made.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@cijtoday.com or through your account settings.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the platform, without notice, if you:
- Violate any provision of these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior
- Violate applicable laws of India or Japan
- Use the platform in ways that damage our reputation or other users
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Certain provisions of these Terms (including IP rights, disclaimers, and liability limitations) will survive termination.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably within 30 days of written notice.
Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. For matters involving Japanese users, we aim to apply commercially reasonable standards consistent with Japanese consumer protection law.
